CERTIFICATES

Cape Breton University has historically offered a variety of certificate programs which augment a student’s academic and co-curricular record. These programs focus on specialty areas of study and are grounded in a relevance to the economic and cultural landscape of Cape Breton Island.

Recently, the World Tourism Institute at Cape Breton University has focused on the development of new, innovative certificate programs that relate directly to the Tourism Industry on island. These can be stand-alone certificates, earned by part-time students, or they are at times embedded into a related CBU university degree program. Some newly proposed certificates include:

Certificate in Tourism Studies
